What's his deal?

Life in his little cottage was good. Peaceful, quiet, unchanging, shrouded in perpetual darkness.

Quiet days all to himself, to indulge in his hobbies, to enjoy the simple pleasures in life.

Long afternoons where nothing existed in his little universe other than a small cup of steaming tea and his knitting needles, working away at yet another quilt patched together by layers and layers and layers of fabric.

The occasional little inconveniences in his life more often than not sorted themselves out. Food and quality items were... well, there was a lot of those around here. Like tea. Life was good this way, Flashdark supposed.

That was, until the World-Takeover-ers - or, more specifically, Anonymous - arrived.

Anonymous was... energetic, talkative, possessing boundless energy. Always talking about things at a speed he couldn't really, well, keep up. Always insisting they go together on adventures, all sorts of adventures, and... it didn't feel nice to say no.

Anonymous was a vegetarian, disliking the taste of meat in general. He liked these things called Mobius strips. And telephone booths. And spoons. And he always knew where to go.

And then with Anonymous came the rest of them. The World-Takeover-ers - an equally lively bunch, with an important mission at hand. Very enthusiastic about their mission, too.

It was nice. To have friends like these who would occasionally come to visit. Their presence is a lot, but, well... the good kind, he supposed. Even if Flashdark was a little confused most of the time, it was still nice, to occasionally have them around.

And so, in the rare event where the World-Takeover-ers needed something, Flashdark would not hesitate to provide. All those things he'd stashed around his place "in case someone might need it someday" are finally needed. Like buttons. And dictionaries. And spare knitting needles.

And spoons. Can't forget the spoons.

FUN FACTS!

• Owns an umbrella with a spiral pattern. Would spin it gently and then proceed to stare at it, utterly mesmerized, for what feels like millenia.
• Has a drawer full of spoons. Also has another drawer full of forks, but it isn't strictly a drawer of forks because he accidentally put a few knives in there once and never bothered to dig them out ever since.
• His cottage lies in an abandoned building. Does not notice how absurd it is to have a house within a house.
• Is the one who sewed Anonymous's clothes, mending holes as well as adding fabric to accommodate his extra-long limbs. Flashdark is by no means a professional, but at least the stitches are still... holding together... for now...
