Some miscellaneous things about the website, including fun little tidbits or games, ramblings I don't know where else to put, and stuff about yours truly, I guess.

FUN STUFF!!

Some little games / interactive things I made! Have fun with them :)

  • THE HAT GAME: a FUN game in which you try to guess which FUN HAT has ANON in it! (Made using Scratch (yes, that Scratch) and converted to html via online converter; background music is Blue Ball Machine. (Warning: Gondo-tier graphic design utilized on purpose. This game is way too cursed.)
  • Headpats for Jon: give our favorite eldritch abomination some headpats even though he technically doesn't really have a well-defined head!
  • Mobius strips for Anon: give our favorite (?????) regenerating monster some MOBIUS STRIPS! Yes this is literally the same thing as the Jon headpat thing but I don't care muhahahahaha-
  • Memory matching: that one classic card game in which you try to match cards as fast as possible, except it's Takeoverse characters! (Huge thanks to Kolo for the script and help with troubleshooting!)

About ME!

Hi! I'm Lia Amanata (or just "Lia"). I use she/her pronouns! I'm a [BLEEM]-year-old paracosmist who lives in [EVENT HORIZON]! Although the Takeoverse is still pretty young, I've been paracosming for most of my life now! I enjoy interacting with the little world in my head by writing, drawing, and occasionally even making games or music (which is basically just whatever you'd see on this site) - the possibilities are (metaphorically) endless!

I love making art for my paracosm, but I don't really see myself as a skilled artist or something. I also only draw in grayscale because I say so. I'm the kind of person who doesn't know what red + yellow is. If you want to make art trades with me or something you can still contact me, but keep in mind that my art is exactly how you see it as here. xd

I also love mathematics! From abstract college-level math to stuff as simple as mathematical games or just "hey look, cool shapes," I love 'em!! This may or may not show in my writing, worldbuilding, and / or character design, but don't worry, I won't force you to understand very hard mathematical concepts as a prerequisite to anything I write here I prommy

English is not my mother tongue, so I apologize in advance for for any and all mistakes in my writing xd. If you ever find any errors, please don't hesitate to lemme know! :D

Boundaries and Usage

Fanstuff in general

  • Feel free to create anything about my characters, worlds, and stories (e.g. fanfics, fanart, OCs, headcanons, shipping), as long as you understand it isn't canon, do not claim my creation belongs to you, and do not use your creations commercially (e.g. selling merch of your Takeoverse OCs).
  • NSFW / gore is fine, just don't come shoving it into my face and demand me to see it. Also, follow the usual decency one should go about making NSFW or gore (e.g. don't show them to minors, always make content warnings), and you're good :)

Reposting my content

  • You may repost my content anywhere as long as it is clearly credited to me and this website. Simply post a link here to my website to do so!
  • Also, do not use my creations commercially. That's right, don't sell my stuff. (Not like it would sell well anyway, but still.)
  • Again, remember to follow the usual decency if the content you're reposting is NSFW or gore. I do not take any responsibility for other people posting my stuff anywhere; if you posting gore from my site gets you in trouble, it's not on me.

What is a PARACOSM?

You probably have already seen me bringing up the term "paracosm" for many times now. But what really is a paracosm?

I personally would say a paracosm is "an imaginary world with a deep emotional connection with its creator." Of course, the "precise definition" of a paracosm is still up for debate and probably always will be, but I do label myself as a paracosmist (i.e. a person with a paracosm), and things are coming along good for me this way.

If you want to know more about paracosms and / or suspect you have one as well, you can join the Paracosmist Collective, an awesome Discord server for paracosmists and people who want to learn about paracosms alike!

I'm also there and yap about the Takeoverse there daily. Also I spoil almost everything there so that's something too I guess.

Random QnAs!

Q1. Why is the Takeoverse called that? It's weird.

A1. The name is just me mashing "The World-Takeover-ers" (which is the biggest and most prominent storyline in the Takeoverse, btw) with the suffix "verse" and deciding the name is good enough for my abysmal naming skills. It's weird because I am bad at naming.

Q2. Why are monsters like that? Why are the rules lain so haphazardly? Like, is it possible for a monster to just look like something ridiculous, like 300 balloons strung together?

A2. Monsters are just a ridiculous "species" I invented because I want to design things with cool powers but don't want to make up an entire species for just one character, which I totally would if push comes to shove anyway. Also, yes, it's possible for a monster to look like 300 balloons strung together. It's also not a pre-existing monster yet, so you can make it your OC I guess.

Q3. Where are the site update logs?!

GUESTBOOK!!

General rules about posting in the guestbook are as follows:

  • Please do NOT post NSFW or gore in the guestbook, and keep content that may potentially be upsetting to a minimum.
  • Also, please do not spoil Takeoverse lore (not mentioned on the website) in the guestbook xd. You can spoil Takeoverse lore anywhere else you wish, but spoiling it on the guestbook just doesn't seem decent, y'know?
  • I retain the right to choose what posts I want displayed, as well as the right to take down any posts whenever and however I wish.
  • (Do note that if you post a message, I will have to approve it first before it shows, so not seeing your message displayed the second you post it is perfectly normal!)
